i could never understand why people who were born one way decide to live life another way. You know... a guy who want's to be a woman and so on. I do understand how hard it is to put on a front for people so that you can fit in or not be judged. It like the elephant in the room. You know its there but everybody ignores it. You want to be seen one way but you have to conform to society's way of thinking. I know and understand because that's what I'm going through. Although I'm young and going through my i don't know what i want to do with my life faze (i'll be glad when that's over) i want to be excepted for who i am and not judge be as being nasty or misfit (that's another post) I love being a woman. I love the way i look, sound, feel. I would not change it for anything. (I don't have anything against anyone who lives life this way). So in the word of Ms Rupaul " If you don't love yourself, how in the HELL you gon' love somebody else!
Hi CamE,
ReplyDeleteI'm returning the love, nice to see another black woman blogging so openly.
Loving ourselves is the best thing ever.
